Met with a career coach…

And she suggested that since I know what I want to be when I grow up (managing assets at home, selling stitching designs as a hobby, and writing stories for publication) I should focus on jobs which help me learn what I need in order to succeed at where I want to be. It hit me that the accounting portion is where I’m weak. So I tweaked my resume to show more of my accounting skill and I’m now looking for work in a segment where everyone is getting laid off. Not too bright, huh?
