Stitch from Stash March post

So the month started off with a trip with my friends up to Ogden and Shepherd’s Bush, Needlepoint Joint and a stop at Jill Rensel’s studio where we were lucky enough to find Jill working there. She had some beautiful pieces…including a painting which was 1/100 and was Elsa from Frozen.

So in my shopping trip, I bought beads for the Mirabilia Queens $6.50, Buttons for my Lizzie Kate “Be Naughty” $5.60, La-D-da’s Something Wicked $8.00 For a total of $20.10. Considering that I had the $25 for this month and the $22.10 from last month, I think I did pretty well.

As for stitching, I don’t think I’ve put in as many actual stitching hours as I did last month but I finished off 3 items and framed them. However, two of them were new starts and I also started a Just Nan Filigree Fancies kit – Ivy Heart so the list hasn’t changed.

Maybe next month?

Wednesday WIPs are full completions…

Had to re-frame this one after the puppies got it. You can see the chew marks at the bottom of the frame

And here are my Lizzie Kate finishes. I started and finished these during the rotation slot. I knew I wanted to have them in matching frames and they are now in the Christmas boxes to go to my office next year…

Next slot is working on my purse from Mama’s house.

St Patrick’s Day Puppies

I have no clue what they got into but they were most definitely Green!!!

Wipocalypse post – Where do you stitch?

This is me stitching with my Princess Bo… This is my stitching chair. It has a magnifying lamp and wide arms for putting my stitching stuff on, patterns, floss, scissors, stopwatch, Tab with ice, all the important things… Stitching has been going good this month, I’ve managed to make it through my entire rotation and I’m now starting over on round two.

Late Wednesday WIP

This week’s slot was new starts and re-starts – Here are the starts and finishes for this slot…

Both of these are Lizzie Kate designs and stitch up really fast. Be Naughty is ready for framing and I just have the clock to finish on Too Late and then it will be good to go.

I have another finish that I can’t show off yet until the recipient receives it as part of an exchange…

Wednesday WIPs – Finished up the screaming slot…

I finished up the slot for my Screaming spot in the rotation and the next up was my restart or new project slot. Here is Autumn Queen as she goes back to wait for her official turn unless she screams some more.

I scheduled the next start be the redo of my Lizzie Kate Be Naughty project and I did get that started.

But I have been seeing the posts from the Just Nan Junkies and really wanted to work on some of my Just Nan patterns. As I was going through them I found the Ivy Heart kit from the Filigree Fancies set and started that.

Along with the stitching this week, I took first place for my Toastmasters speech on you can still use your insurance agent and you don’t have to use Healthcare.gov if you don’t qualify for a subsidy. And found out that my speech on applying project management to hobbies at home won last week’s contest and I’m supposed to speak at the district level later this month. All in all a good week.
